AGG BRO ABM1000 is  Self Adhesive Waterproofing Membrane protected by Cross Laminated High - Density HDPE Film. ABM1000 consists of a special mofied Special compound that remains adhesive even at low temperatures. The cross-laminated high- density polyethylene film gives the membrane characteristics of dimensional stability and ensures uniform reaction to elongation stresses in a longitudinal and transversal direction. This membrane has been studied and developed for the specific waterproofing of vertical walls, foundations and basements and all applications where there is required fast techniques that ensure secure results with reasonable costs.

Applications

Waterproofing in Roofs, Waterproofing of foundations and horizontal and vertical underground structures; Waterproofing in atmospheres not compatible with the use of free fire flames (i.e. factories or warehouses were flammable chemical agents are produced or stored).


SurfacePreparation

The Surface should be clean, dry, smooth and dust-free. If the surface is porous, apply a coat of Solvent Based Primer.

Application 

ABM-1000 should always be applied from the lowest point to enable laps to shed water. All edge and end laps must be overlapped a minimum of 60 mm. Internal and external corners shall be reinforced with an extra layer of membrane 300 mm wide. All end laps and exposed edges should be sealed. On vertical surfaces the installation should start at the lowest point with the joints overlapping by at least 100 mm and formed so that they will shed water.

GRACE ICE & WATER SHIELD self-adhered roofing underlayment is a premier membrane composed of twowaterproofing materials—an aggressive rubberized asphalt adhesive backed by a layer of slip resistant coated highdensity cross laminated polyethylene film. The rubberized asphalt surface is backed with a foldless release paper thatprotects its adhesive quality. During application, the release paper is easily removed, allowing the rubberized asphalt tobond tightly to the roof deck. The Ripcord embedded in the adhesive provides the applicator a “split release ondemand” feature.
